Today we discussed obvious interest of our potential clients and different investors to creation of similar projects to groupon.com, wowcher.co.uk, deals.livingsocial.com, etc.

In short the main idea of such services is getting cool discounts (restaurants, theatres, Spas, Classes, etc) if there’s certain amount of people who are ready to use the discount. Sort of crowdsourcing model for buying. So the steps are:

1. You find a deal and join it

2. You only get the deal if enough people join to the deal

It is an awesome idea and it works, but wouldn’t it be even better in this way:

1. You post a request for some product and see current average or minimum price for the product in the market.

2. You choose the desired discount and post a wanted deal. Sellers are notified and see your wanted deal.

3. All other customers can see your wanted deal too and join.

4. If certain amount of people join within some time then interested sellers provide the deal instantly!

It probably looks more complicated but in the end it really turns the market closer to customers - we should be able to create deals! =)
